KNME/PBS Broadcast Refusal Response Illustra Media has become embroiled in a controversy regarding the PBS affiliate in New Mexico. Recently, KNME unexpectedly pulled “Unlocking the Mystery of Life” from their broadcast schedule because one of foundations that funded the documentary often supports evangelical causes. This decision has resulted in charges of censorship by PBS and extensive national news coverage.
